Project Leader for 'Profitable Pears' based at Agriculture Victoria, Tatura

Objective: Look at different management systems and management techniques to maximize productivity in new red blush pears, in an experiment orchard at Tatura.

In this orchard we are focused on 3 large experiments:

• different planting systems,
• irrigation and root pruning,  and
• interaction of various rootstocks with the 3 different blush pear cultivars.
